Progress - Week of July 20

Decent progress being made. The hickory floors have been installed on the 3rd and 4th floor hallway as well as the library.

The first finish coat of the extension facade went on.

By far the most tedious of the work - the restoration - continues with effort focusing on the exterior doors and the woodwork around the front entrance.

Also started stripping the pocket doors.

The structural work in the rental is just about done and we are waiting for the structural engineer to sign off on the work completed down there before we can remove the temporary shoring.

All the garbage is being relocated to the front portion of the rental and will be carted away this coming Tuesday.

This coming week should be a pretty big week. If I understand correctly (1) the garbage should be removed including the planter in the backyard (2) the dirt pile we've been collecting should be sent offsite (3) the decaying tree in the backyard will be coming down (weather permitting) (4) waterproofing of the new roofs (5) laying out the pex in the master bedroom and master bathroom (6) possibly laying down the new master bathroom floor (7) tile preparations for the rental and 4th floor bathroom.
Check in with us next week to see how we've done.
