Ok. We've finally done a respectable amount of unpacking, cleaning, and even managed to host 8 people over for dinner, so thought it would be appropriate to update the blog.

So, the rental is done but for small punch list items and the tenant is all moved in.  We managed to take a few snapshots of the finished space.  In rapid fire sequence...

On to the main house.  This week we are showing photos of the parlor floor and the library.  The Karp household usually doesn't look this festive but Melinda was preparing and decorating for a holiday dinner party for 10.  Her transformation into s Stepford wife is almost complete.

We're trying, honest!

We know our three fans are eagerly anticipating updates and pictures...we are trying to get them up but are finding that every spare minute is spent swiffering the floor instead of unpacking or photographing. But they're coming soon, we promise.

In the meantime, we thought we'd give you a teensy taste of what's to come. Below is a picture taken in our new kitchen, of our wonderful Thanksgiving turkey. The holiday may still be over, but we at the Karp Mahal are still very, very thankful.
